- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am an addict. I have been for serveral years. I reached out to St. Vincent to get help with my substance abuse problems. I was denied treatment bye Lynne (detox intake employee) because I had been there before and she said she will not help me. As an addict I have made bad decisions and have relapsed. I am serious about seeking help and was turned away. I believe that there duty in that part of the hospital is to help anyone who has the willingness to get help. How do you turn addict away that truly wants to get help? Why even have a substance abuse program that denies someone with a drug problem?August 01, 2017by Jon N
